Visiting Connecticut is a wonderful way for you to enjoy wholesome fun for adults and children alike. There are so many great places to visit throughout Connecticut all through the year.

During the Fall Season, so many people come to enjoy the fall foliage. Take a drive down Routes 1, 7, 9, 15 and 169 and you will enjoy spectacular views of all vibrant colors of fall foliage. If you are a west coast native then you will especially enjoy these breathtaking sceneries. Take the time to enjoy these colors. One great stop along these routes is at exit 35 off route 137 north. Just a short distance from the highway you can visit the Bartlett Arboretum, the perfect spot for fall foliage. The business world is changing tremendously. Certain tasks that we were used to doing for years have become outdated due to modern technology.  One of the areas that I’m referring to is the changeover to primarily relaying on email and the internet for so many business aspects. Nowadays, so much of the everyday correspondence is done via email.  Actual phone conversations have been minimized substantially.  For the most part, I feel it’s a good thing.  Much less time is wasted when using email.  Email does away with the all the chit chats of phone conversations.  With an email you can get right down to the point.    You can say what’s on your mind much easier.  You are in control of the way the “conversation” goes.  If you don’t know how to answer something, you can take the time to think about it.  And, another major advantage is you have everything down in writing with emails.  You can refer back to emails to track conversations and to see exactly what occurred.

Another aspect that definitely got minimized due to email and internet usage is that of using actual mail.  These days regular postal mail is referred to as “snail mail”.  We are used to everything being instant these days. So to have to wait a couple of days for a piece of paper seems backwards now and a waste of time.  Yet there are some things that still get done with regular mail.  Most offices still send out their invoices and checks through regular mail. They use their trusty custom rubber stamp to make the envelop look professional and official.  Somehow an actual envelope with an invoice that you receive in your hands through the mail is usually taken more seriously than an email telling you to pay up.  So we can’t do away with regular mail just yet. But it is a reality that times have changed drastically and we are relying more than ever on emails and internet to do business.

There are other ways to earn some quick hard cash. You can make a yard sale and clean your house at the same time. You can also try to sell some unused items online at sites such as Craig’s List or E-Bay. You can also try to out your talents to good use. If you are good at baking, why not try t sell your baked goods. Some people rather buy from you then make a mess in their own kitchen. Or if you are very handy around the house, try advertising your expertise. You don’t have to make a full time job at it. I wouldn’t either suggest that you quit your day job. However, you can use your extra time to try your hand at making some extra cash. There are so many expenses cropping up these days that you need to take an aggressive approach in order to make some extra money to be able to splurge on things that you really would like.
